How it works
Storybooks, written by many people.
Each one is built a part at a time. Here's how.
- 1
It starts with an opening
Someone writes the first part, a few short paragraphs that set the scene. That becomes Part 1.
- 2
Anyone writes what happens next
You add your continuation, and so do others. They compete to become the next part. You can't write two parts in a row, so it stays a real collaboration.
- 3
The community picks the winner
Readers vote on the continuations, and the book's creator confirms the one that becomes canon. The rest stay as paths not taken.
- 4
Books end when an ending wins
Any continuation can be written as an ending. If it wins, the book is finished and moves to the Shelf.
- 5
Every part gets an illustration
Each canon part is illustrated in black and white. The first one becomes the book's cover.
